Kumasi Technical University Receives Donation of Projectors from 2004 HND Civil Engineering Alumni

In a heartwarming gesture to support the educational resources of Kumasi Technical University (KsTU), the 2004 HND Civil Engineering class led by Dr. Elijah Boadu Frimpong, Head of Department of Civil Engineering has donated four high-quality projectors to the University Management. This donation, valued at GH₵32,000, marks the 20th anniversary of their graduation from the Department of Civil Engineering.
The items were officially handed over to the University management by Prof. Adoma Worae, President of the Alumni Association, on behalf of the 2004 alumni class. The ceremony was graced by the presence of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Gabriel Dwomoh, who accepted the donation on behalf of the University. He was accompanied by the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Ing. Prof. (Mrs.) Abena A. Obiri-Yeboah. Also in attendance was Mrs. Matilda Acquaah, a prominent member of the association.
In his remarks, Prof. Dwomoh expressed his profound gratitude to the 2004-year group for their thoughtful contribution, stating, "This is good news for the University. We are grateful for your generosity and for coming to our aid in such a meaningful way. On behalf of the management and the entire University community, I want to thank you for this kind gesture."
Prof. Dwomoh further encouraged other alumni groups to emulate this example by supporting the University in various capacities. "I call on other year groups to assist and contribute in any way they can to enhance the academic and infrastructural development of KsTU," he added.
The donation of these projectors comes at a crucial time, as the University continues to enhance its educational resources and facilities to maintain its status as a leading technical institution in the region. This contribution will significantly benefit the Civil Engineering Department and the University as a whole, providing enhanced tools for effective teaching and learning.
