MultiThread ICT Solutions Ltd. Engages KsTU on Office 365 Staff Training

Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) has held discussions with MultiThread ICT Solutions Limited, an Information and Communications Technology (ICT) solutions provider in Ghana, as part of plans to enhance staff capacity in the use of Microsoft Office 365 tools. The engagement, which took place at the Office of the Pro-Vice-Chancellor, focused on the company's intention to organise training sessions for staff of the University to enable them to take full advantage of the wide range of tools available under the Office 365 platform.

The delegation from MultiThread ICT Solutions Limited was received by the Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Ing. Prof. Abena Agyeiwaa Obiri-Yeboah, who expressed the University's keen interest in the proposed training. Speaking during the meeting, Ing. Prof. Obiri-Yeboah noted that while many staff members are familiar with and regularly use Microsoft Outlook for official communication, the Office 365 suite offers several other tools that could significantly improve teaching, learning, collaboration, communication and administrative work. She therefore welcomed the initiative and assured the MultiThread ICT Solutions team of the University's full support towards the successful organisation of the training programme.

The Pro-Vice-Chancellor emphasised the importance of equipping staff with the necessary digital skills to effectively utilise the University's available technological resources and explore the full potential of the Office 365 ecosystem. The meeting was attended by the Director of Information Technology and the Planning Officer, who joined discussions on the proposed training and its potential benefits to staff and the University as a whole.

The proposed training forms part of efforts to strengthen digital capacity among staff and promote the effective use of technology to support teaching, learning, communication, collaboration and institutional administration at Kumasi Technical University.
