Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) marked a special occasion as the Director of the Internal Audit Directorate, Mr. Edward Ansah, introduced the second edition of the Internal Audit Directorate Award Scheme. Mr. Kwame Boakye Dapaah, a chief auditing assistant emerged as the well-deserved recipient of the prestigious "Overall Best Internal Auditor" title for the year 2022. Throughout the year, Mr. Dapaah showcased unwavering commitment and dedication in his role, diligently supervising the pre-audit of payments and conducting periodic audits with unmatched efficiency. Moreover, he proved himself invaluable by willingly taking on additional responsibilities assigned to him by his superiors.
The award presentation ceremony, graced by the Vice-Chancellor, Ing. Prof. Osei-Wusu Achaw, and his management team, was a true celebration of merit and hard work. The Vice-Chancellor, in his speech, urged all staff members present to draw inspiration from Mr. Dapaah's exemplary performance, emphasizing that dedication and hard work would undoubtedly be recognized and appreciated within the university community.
