KsTU sign a Memorandum of Understanding with Vaal University of Technology

Vaal University of Technology (VUT) and Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a collaborative relationship between the two institutions. The MoU aims to encourage academic and cultural exchanges and mutual assistance in the areas of education and research.

Through the partnership, the two institutions will seek to pursue staff and student exchanges and collaborative partnerships in the fields of governance, science, technology, and research programs, as well as community development programs. The MoU will allow the institutions to develop specific projects to implement the mutual understanding outlined in the agreement.

The MoU aims to facilitate collaborations in the areas of education and research, with a focus on governance, science, technology, and community development programs. The two universities will pursue staff and student exchanges, as well as collaborative partnerships to achieve their objectives.

The MoU signifies the commitment of both institutions to strengthen their ties and enhance their capabilities in research, innovation, and education. It opens up opportunities for faculty members and students to explore and learn from different cultural perspectives, and to engage in joint projects that will have a positive impact on society.

The partnership between VUT and KsTU will undoubtedly create opportunities for students and staff to broaden their horizons, gain new perspectives, and develop valuable skills that will benefit them in their academic and professional careers. It will also facilitate the exchange of academic materials and publications, further promoting research and development between the two institutions. 

About KsTU

Kumasi Technical University was established in 1954 as Kumasi Technical Institute (K. T. I. ) to offer craft courses. In 1963, the Institute was converted to a non-tertiary Polytechnic status under the Ghana Education Service to start offering, in addition, technician diploma and sub- professional courses.
