KsTU collaborates with Weifang Vocational College to launch the "Future Africa-China Applied Talents Joint Training Project

On March 15th, 2023 the launching ceremony of Weifang Vocational College and Kumasi Technical University "Future Africa-China-Africa Applied Talents Joint Training Project" and the welcome ceremony for teachers and students of KsTU were held in Binhai Campus.

Yu Yougen pointed out that this joint training project is of great significance. The smooth cooperation between Weifang Vocational College and Kumasi University of Technology is a typical case of China-Africa vocational education cooperation. It will further deepen school-level exchanges and cooperation and improve the level of international vocational education. He hoped that the two sides will carry out student exchanges, scientific research cooperation and cultural exchanges more closely in the future, so as to contribute to the development of vocational education in the country and the world.Yu Yougen, Deputy Secretary-General of China Education Association for International Exchange, Chen Duanmei, Deputy Mayor of Weifang City, Song Yumin, Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Municipal People's Government, Liu Jiancheng, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, Han Ruidong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Li Ruichang, Member of the Party Committee and Vice-Chancellor of Kumasi Technical University, Ing. Prof. Osei-Wusu Achaw, President of Western Technical University, and Prof. Sarfo Mensah, director of the International Affairs Office - KsTU, attended the ceremony.

The main leaders of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office, the Academic Affairs Office, the Student Affairs Office of the Youth League Committee, and the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, as well as the "Future Africa" ​​project and the joint training of mechanical and electrical students from the two schools, participated in the ceremony. Han Ruidong presided over the ceremony.
