Prudential Bank Donates Projectors to Kumasi Technical University to Enhance Teaching and Learning
Prudential Bank Limited has donated projectors valued at GH¢83,200 to Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) to support teaching and learning at the Institution. The gesture, which aligns with the Bank’s commitment to advancing education, was warmly received by the University’s Management during a presentation ceremony on campus.
The Registrar of KsTU, Mr. Ebenezer Kofi Boakye, expressed profound gratitude on behalf of the University’s Management. He assured the Bank that the projectors would significantly benefit the students as the new academic year begins. “This kind gesture will greatly enhance teaching and learning at KsTU. We are truly grateful for your support and pledge to put these resources to good use,” he stated.
Mr. Boakye also highlighted the University’s intention to deepen its relationship with Prudential Bank, stating that KsTU recognises the Bank’s role and hopes to utilise its services for various financial transactions.
Leading the delegation from Prudential Bank, the Area Manager for the Northern Zone, Mr. Jalaludeen Emran Adam, presented the cheque and reaffirmed the Bank’s dedication to support education in Ghana. “This donation aligns with our commitment to supporting educational institutions in their quest to provide quality learning experiences,” he said. He further emphasised that the donation was aimed at strengthening the bond between the Bank and KsTU.
The Bank also extended an invitation to KsTU students to undertake internships and attachments at Prudential Bank, particularly, those studying banking and related disciplines. This opportunity, according to Mr. Jalaludeen Emran Adam, is part of the Bank’s efforts to nurture young talents and equip them with practical skills.
The Bank’s delegation included notable officials such as Mrs. Naomi Adjei-Twum, Commercial Relationship Manager, Mr. Samuel Afranie, Branch Manager (Afful Nkwanta), Mr. Boakye Osei-Assibe, Head of the Commercial Team (Northern Zone), and Ewurama Frimpomaa Danso, the Commercial Relationship Officer.
From KsTU were Mr. Isaac Owusu Ansah, Director of Finance, and Mr. Asare-Baffour Frimpong, Director of Internal Audit, who joined the Registrar in receiving the donation.
The University pledged to make the most of the donated projectors, enhancing the quality of education for its students. Both institutions expressed optimism about further collaborations to promote education and development.
