Vice-Chancellor Unveils a Mural for The University

The Vice-Chancellor of Kumasi Technical University, together with his management team, unveiled a beautifully designed mural at the Chemical Engineering Block. The graphic artwork was created to emphasize the University's core value, "The Student Matters Most." 

The mural, which was designed by the staff of the Guidance and Counseling unit and Publications Unit, features the image of a student at the center, surrounded by various elements that represent the University's commitment to providing quality education and support to its students. 

Speaking at the unveiling ceremony, the Vice-Chancellor of Kumasi Technical University, expressed his delight at the stunning piece of artwork. He commended the staff of the Guidance and Counseling unit and Publications unit for their excellent work, noting that their efforts had helped to bring the University's core value to life in a tangible and visible way. 

"The mural is not just a piece of art, it is a powerful representation of our commitment to our students. It reminds us that everything we do at this institution is centered around the needs and well-being of our students," the Vice-Chancellor said. 

The unveiling ceremony was attended by staff and students of the University, who expressed their admiration for the mural and the hard work that went into creating it. The unveiling ceremony ended with the Vice-Chancellor cutting a ribbon to officially unviel the mural.
The unveiling of the mural was a significant milestone for Kumasi Technical University and a testament to the University's commitment to its core value of putting the student first. The artwork will serve as a constant reminder to all staff and students that their needs and well-being are at the center of the University's operations. 

About KsTU

Kumasi Technical University was established in 1954 as Kumasi Technical Institute (K. T. I. ) to offer craft courses. In 1963, the Institute was converted to a non-tertiary Polytechnic status under the Ghana Education Service to start offering, in addition, technician diploma and sub- professional courses.
