Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) Staff Enstooled As Chief

Mr. Francis Baidoo of the Estate Unit of Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) has been enstooled as the Mankrado of Ajumako Abrofowa in the Central region of Ghana. His stool name is Nana Asimah II. This news was received with great excitement by the whole of Kumasi Technical University and the Institution wishes to congratulate Mr. Francis Baidoo for such an achievement.

Speaking to Dr. Charles Obeng-Sarpong, the Senior Assistant Registrar in charge of Public Relations in the University, Mr. Baidoo expressed his excitement for such an opportunity to also contribute his quota to the development of Ajumako Abrofowa province.

Mr. Baidoo is a fifty-three (53) year old man happily married with four lovely children. He joined Kumasi Technical University in 2011 and has remained at the Estate Unit as a result of his hard work. 

About KsTU

Kumasi Technical University was established in 1954 as Kumasi Technical Institute (K. T. I. ) to offer craft courses. In 1963, the Institute was converted to a non-tertiary Polytechnic status under the Ghana Education Service to start offering, in addition, technician diploma and sub- professional courses.
