MP for Subin Constituency Donates PPE to Kumasi Technical University

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Subin Constituency Hon. Eugene Boakye Antwi who also doubles as the Deputy Minister of Works and Housing has donated some Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to the Kumasi Technical University to support the Institution’s fight against the Corona Virus (COVID-19). 

The items donated included some packs of tissue papers, a box of liquid soap, three boxes of sanitizers and 200 face shields to support the University as it fights the deadly COVID-19.

The items were received by the Vice-Chancellor of the University Ing. Prof Nana Osei-Wusu Achaw who expressed his profound gratitude for the kind gesture. At the short ceremony was also the Registrar of the University, Mr. Ebenezer Kofi Boakye who was grateful and full of praise for the legislator.

About KsTU

Kumasi Technical University was established in 1954 as Kumasi Technical Institute (K. T. I. ) to offer craft courses. In 1963, the Institute was converted to a non-tertiary Polytechnic status under the Ghana Education Service to start offering, in addition, technician diploma and sub- professional courses.
