Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) is pleased to announce a call for applications for the Erasmus+ KA171 Student Mobility Programme at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW), Poland. this opportunity is part of our ongoing strategic partnership with SGGW to promote global academic excellence and intercultural exchange.

 

1. MOBILITY DETAILS

  • Host Institution: Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW), Poland.
  • Mobility Period: Winter Semester (October 2026 – February 2027).
  • Available Quota: Four (4) Students.
  • Travel Grant: €820.00 (once).
  • Monthly Stipend: €800.00 per month for the duration of the stay.

 

2. ELIGIBLE DEPARTMENTS

Applications are open to levels 100, 200 and 300 students currently enrolled in the following departments:

  • Construction Technology and Quantity Surveying
  • Food Technology
  • Civil Engineering
  • Management Studies
  • Agribusiness

 

3. APPLICATION PROCESS

Applicants must submit a single file containing the following documents in the order listed:

  1. Formal Application Letter: Addressed to the Dean, International Affairs and Institutional Linkages, KsTU.
  2. Motivation Letter: Clearly stating reasons for applying, the benefits to your studies and career, and why you should be selected.
  3. Endorsed Academic Records: An official copy verified by the Head of Department (Minimum CGPA: 3.00)
  4. Passport Bio-page Copy 
  5. English Proficiency Certificate
  6. Proof of Student Status: Valid student’s ID card copy
  7. Ghana National ID Card Copy

 

5. SUBMISSION AND SELECTION PROCESS

  • Submit both hard and soft copies of your complete application to the Office of the Dean, International Affairs & Institutional Linkages and sarfo.mensah@kstu.edu.gh respectively.
  • Pre-Nomination: All documents must be legible and clear for pre-nomination screening.
  • Final Selection: Nominated candidates will be selected by SGGW via online application system.

 

6. SUBMISSION DEADLINE

Tuesday, 21st April 2026 | 13:00 GMT (1:00 PM) Late submissions or incomplete applications will not be considered.

About KsTU

Kumasi Technical University was established in 1954 as Kumasi Technical Institute (K. T. I. ) to offer craft courses. In 1963, the Institute was converted to a non-tertiary Polytechnic status under the Ghana Education Service to start offering, in addition, technician diploma and sub- professional courses.
