Sysmex West and Central Africa Ltd. (SWCA), a top supplier of cutting-edge laboratory solutions, has made a substantial donation of cutting-edge medical diagnostic equipment to the Faculty of Health Sciences at Kumasi Technical University (KsTU). The donation is anticipated to improve teaching, research, and hands-on training at the university. It comprises state-of-the-art automated devices for coagulation, urinalysis, and haematology.

At a brief ceremony to hand over the equipment, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Gabriel Dwomoh, received the items on behalf of the University. He expressed deep gratitude to Sysmex for the support, describing the gesture as “a great boost to our Department of Laboratory Technology and a timely intervention in strengthening practical training for our students.”

The Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Samuel Osei Djarbeng, also appreciated the team on behalf of the Faculty.
