In a significant occasion, Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) proudly announced the reappointment of Surv. Divine Comla Sekyere Dzradosi as the Director of Works and Physical Development of the University. Surv. Dzradosi's tenure of office came to an end on August 31, 2023. However his tireless efforts, dedication and exceptional professionalism have once again earned him the trust and confidence of the University's Governing Council, leading to his reappointment. His reappointment took effect from 1st September, 2023.

Surv. Divine Comla Sekyere Dzradosi, a seasoned Valuation and Estate Surveyor, was born on March 1, 1966, in Tema, Greater Accra. He graduated from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in 1997 with a BSc degree in Land Economy. In 2003, he furthered his education by obtaining a Masters’ degree in Urban Planning and Land Administration at the International Institute of Geo-Information Sciences and Earth Observation in the Netherlands.

Surv. Dzradosi's commitment to his field extends beyond academic achievements. He holds a certificate in Advanced Leadership from Haggai Institute in Singapore, earned in 2007, indicating his dedication to continuous growth and development.

With over 26 years of experience in Valuation and Estate Surveying, Surv. Dzradosi has made significant contributions to Facilities Management, Valuation practices, Land Administration, and Urban Land Management. His journey in academia began as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Land Economy at KNUST from 1997 to 1999. His career path took him to the Office of the Administrator of Stool Lands (OASL) in the Ashanti region, where he served as an Assistant Stool Lands Officer. He also contributed his expertise as a part-time lecturer in the Department of Estate Management at Kumasi Technical University from 1997 to 2015.

Surv. Dzradosi's administrative roles include serving as the Deputy Regional Stool Lands Officer in Ashanti, as well as in the Western and Northern regions of Ghana as the Acting Regional Stool Lands Officer. His association with Kumasi Technical University began in November 2005 when he assumed the role as Estate Officer. His dedication and hard work culminated in his promotion to the position of Deputy Director of Works and Physical Development in 2013.

Notably, Surv. Dzradosi was was officially appointed as the Director of Works and Physical Development on September 1, 2019. This commitment and exceptional performance have been further recognised, as the University Council renewed his appointment for a second term, extending until February 28, 2026.

In recognition of his outstanding contributions to the field, Surv. Divine Comla Sekyere Dzradosi was chartered as a Valuation and Estate Surveyor in November 2001 and later became a certified Surveyor. His exceptional achievements were acknowledged when he was appointed as a fellow of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors (GhIS) in November 2018.

Currently, Surv. Dzradosi holds the esteemed position of Chairman of the Ashanti Regional branch of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors (GhIS), a testament to his leadership and influence in the field.

His reappointment promises to bring further progress and development to the Institution and its community.
