In his welcome address, Professor Dwomoh emphasised the potential of the partnership to revolutionise automotive engineering education. “This collaboration underscores our commitment to equipping students and staff with industry-relevant skills while fostering innovations that propel Ghana’s automotive sector forward,” he stated.
SKED Automotive Services brings to the partnership a cutting-edge engineering facility equipped with advanced technologies such as dynamometers, four-vehicle post lifts, diagnostic scanners, and wheel alignment machines. The facility prioritises operational efficiency and dual functionality, serving both as a training hub for students and a commercial workshop for the public.
The MoU establishes a modern automotive workshop that merges hands-on learning with commercial service delivery. Students will gain direct exposure to real-world automotive operations, enhancing their technical proficiency and industry readiness. The partnership aligns with KsTU’s strategic vision to integrate industry practices into its technical and vocational curricula, ensuring that graduates are equipped to meet global automotive standards.
