KsTU, Norwegian University of Science and Technology Sign MoU For Academic Collaborations

Kumasi Technical University’s Department of Laboratory Technology and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Department of Biological Sciences Aalesund have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to further their mutual interests in the field of education and research. This MoU serves as a contribution to the increased international cooperation between the two institutions.

The agreement covers several areas of collaboration, including the exchange of staff in programs that are beneficial to both institutions. The exchange of students will also be facilitated to enable them to learn and share experiences in diverse environments.

Both institutions have agreed to collaborate in teaching, research, and development to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and skills in biological sciences and laboratory technology. This partnership will enable students and faculty members from both institutions to gain valuable experience and enhance their knowledge base.

Furthermore, consultancy studies will also be conducted to foster knowledge transfer and practical application of research findings. The exchange of academic materials and publications will also be facilitated to allow both institutions access to a wide range of academic resources.

Prof. Mina Ofosu, who facilitated the partnership, expressed her excitement about the potential benefits of the collaboration. She noted that the partnership would enhance the Department of Laboratory Technology's capacity to deliver high-quality education and research programs.
