GRASAG -KsTu:  Old Executives Hand Over To New Executives

The Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) chapter of the Graduate Students Association of Ghana (GRASAG) on Friday 22nd October, 2021, held a brief ceremony for the outgoing executives to hand over and sworn in the newly-elected executives.

The new GRASAG president, Brandon K. Akendoba in his speech noted that he was determined to build a strong and vibrant GRASAG in KsTU.  Mr. Akendoba on behalf of the new executives commended the outgone executives for the good work done during their tenure. He further added that his team is prepared to do their best to restore confidence and trust in the members of the Association and will continue to work hard to accomplish the set goals for the Association. He also extended a hand of invitation to all members to come on board to work and support the Association to progress to an enviable level. He further reiterated that the new face of GRASAG led by himself is going to be an all-inclusive one. He assured the entire graduate student body that the status of GRASAG –KSTU would be lifted from its current level to a new and better pedestal.

Mr. Yussif Muhammud, the outgone president, expressed his appreciation to GRASAG members for their support during his tenure. According to him, the tremendous support received from members allowed his administration to attain its objectives. He was hopeful that the same support would be extended to the new administration. He used the opportunity to advise the incoming executives to be diligent, unite members and consult experts when the need arises.

The Dean of Graduate School, Dr. Patricia Owusu- Darko, who chaired the function commended GRASAG for conducting a peaceful election. She praised Mr. Yussif Muhammud and his team for their dedicated service to the Association and the cordial relationship they established with Management while in office.

Also in attendance were the Vice Dean of Graduate School Dr. Roland S. Kabange, Mrs. Dinah Rachael Appiah-Krofah, a Senior Assistant Registrar at the Graduate School as well as other past executives and students from the Graduate School.
