One outstanding personality that the Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) would love to celebrate is Dr. Boadu Ayeboafo, a senior lecturer with the department of Accountancy and Accounting Information System. Dr. Ayeboafo is a trained Educational Alliance Programme Representative for West Africa, a position he has held since 2010. He has risen through the ranks to the level of a platinum trainer and is certified to train up to the gold level. What this means is that for any organisation to use the SAGE in the West Africa Region, the organisation involved has to be given the necessary training by Dr. Ayeboafo in order to be equipped with the necessary skills and orientation before the usage can be operationalised. He is also a certified trainer for Manager Software and Tally dealing with top notch companies such as KNUSTFORD, Juaben Oil Mills, Topman Group of Companies, Obibini Blackman Group of Companies among others. Dr. Ayeboafo has been with Kumasi Technical University since 1999 and has served in various capacities including being the Head of the Accountancy and Accounting Information Systems, Examinations Officer and the Head of the non-HND programmes at the Institute of Distance and Continuing Education (IDCE).
