KsTU in collaboration with DTI is organizing an internship program dubbed "DTI Summer Precision Internship Program" with the objective of bridging the gap between academia and industry by making Alumni work-ready. The program will train KsTU Alumni on both soft and hard skills needed by industry. The thematic areas for the training include;

  • Welding and Fabrication
  • Engineering Sciences (Mechanical, Civil and Electrical)
  • Industrial Arts
  • Hospitality
  • Fashion Design and Textiles
  • Design Innovation (ICT, Graphic Designing)
  • Business Administration (Secretaryship, Accounting, HR, Finance, Estate Management).

The program will start on the 7th of March to 28th April 2023 at Commonwealth Hall at the University of Ghana Campus.

About KsTU

Kumasi Technical University was established in 1954 as Kumasi Technical Institute (K. T. I. ) to offer craft courses. In 1963, the Institute was converted to a non-tertiary Polytechnic status under the Ghana Education Service to start offering, in addition, technician diploma and sub- professional courses.
