In line with the requirement of attaining a Masters degree in Kumasi Technical University, the Graduate School of Kumasi Technical University (KsTU), organised a viva-voce for seven of its final year Master of Technology (MTech) students. These students made presentations of their thesis which was examined by their supervisors.

The thesis defense programme had supervisors as well as some external examiners as members on the panel. The students were examined based on three parameters: the candidates’ ownership of the work, display of knowledge and contribution to existing body of knowledge.
