The Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) has been granted accreditation after rigorous review by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) based on the competency of faculty and support staff, tuition facilities, library facility, computing facilities, and number of current and potential students. KsTU has received an accreditation certificate from CILT to run the Logistics, Transport and Supply Chain Management programmes. This accreditation which spans for three years makes KsTU one of the few privileged Universities and the second Technical University in Ghana to be accredited by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport to run their programmes.

Upon completion, students are allowed to apply for full membership and to use the CILT credential after their name. The introduction of the programme is to develop the skills and knowledge of actors in the transport and logistics sector and thus it deserves the support of all. The programme will equip participants with the skills to manage logistics, transport, and general supply chain operations in their organisations and therefore, contributing to the development of the country.

Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport is a leading global body for Logistics, Transport and Supply Chain professionals. CILT is the oldest international transportation and logistics organisation in the world which was started in 1919 and was granted the Royal Charter from the Queen of England in 1926.
