What to know before applying

Mode of Application

Below are some requirements you need to know before applying to Kumasi Technical University: 

  • Apply online at https://apply.kstu.edu.gh/ 
  • Upload a passport size picture with RED BACKGROUND, photocopies of relevant documents and certificates
  • MTech applicants must in addition to the above, upload two (2) Letters of Recommendation, a Letter of Motivation, and a Transcript for those attending KsTU for the first time 
  • Internation Applicants are to process their application from the University website at https://iail.kstu.edu.gh/international-students-application-form

About KsTU

Kumasi Technical University was established in 1954 as Kumasi Technical Institute (K. T. I. ) to offer craft courses. In 1963, the Institute was converted to a non-tertiary Polytechnic status under the Ghana Education Service to start offering, in addition, technician diploma and sub- professional courses.
