Kumasi Technical University Unveils 70th Anniversary Logo: Embarking on a Journey of Excellence

Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) heralded its 70th anniversary celebrations with a momentous event held in the New Great Hall on Friday, 5th April 2024. The ceremony mainly was about the unveiling of the official logo commemorating seven decades of unwavering commitment, growth and a rich legacy of excellence.

The occasion was graced by the presence of the Vice-Chancellor of KsTU, Prof. Gabriel Dwomoh alongside the distinguished members of the University’s Management and the Governing Council. Prof. Dwomoh in his address, lauded the remarkable journey of KsTU, highlighting its pivotal role in producing entrepreneurial graduates poised to tackle the challenges of unemployment. He emphasized the significance of leveraging the celebration as a catalyst for future achievements, promising a brighter and more sustainable future for the Institution. 

The 70th anniversary logo, unveiled by Prof. Dwomoh serves as a visual representation of KsTU’s rich history, encapsulating decades of resilience, innovation and a steadfast pursuit of excellence. Each design of the elements within the logo symbolises a distinct chapter in the University’s evolution, reflecting its rich heritage and enduring legacy.
