PARTIAL FUNDING/SCHOLARSHIP FOR STEM AND TVET FEMALE APPLICANTS

As a means of giving a further boost to the education of the girl child, female applicants to Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) in the area of Science, Technology. Engineering and Mathematics

(STEM) as well as Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), are greatly supported in the 2020/2021 admissions. R is therefore, announced for the information of the general public especially, all female applicants that partial funding/scholarship has been instituted for any female student who begins her STEM or TVET programme in the 2020/2021 academic year at KsTU.

Specifically, the affected programmes are as follows:

1. Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering

2. Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering

3. Bachelor of Technology in Electrical/Electronic Engineering

4 5achelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering

5. Bachelor of Technology in Building Technology

6. Bachelor of Technology in Environmental Statistics

7. Bachelor of Technology in Health Statistics

8. Bachelor of Technology in Financial Statistics

9. Bachelor of Technology in Applied Statistics

10. Bachelor of Technology in Data Science

11. Bachelor of Technology in Computer Technology

12. Higher National Diploma in Statistics

13. Higher National Diploma in Computer Science

14. Higher National Diploma in Interior Design and Technolo8Y

15. Higher National Diploma in Chemical Engineering

16. Higher National Diploma in Civil Engineering

17. Higher National Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering

18. Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

About KsTU

Kumasi Technical University was established in 1954 as Kumasi Technical Institute (K. T. I. ) to offer craft courses. In 1963, the Institute was converted to a non-tertiary Polytechnic status under the Ghana Education Service to start offering, in addition, technician diploma and sub- professional courses.
