Kumasi Technical University Honours Mr. Dennis Manu as Best Internal Auditor of 2023

The Director of the Internal Audit Directorate, Mr. Edward Ansah, once again continues his annual tradition of the Internal Audit Directorate Award Scheme. This initiative, designed to serve as a powerful source of motivation, recognises outstanding performance and dedication among members of the Directorate. For the year 2023, Mr. Dennis Manu, Senior Internal Auditor at the Internal Audit Directorate of Kumasi Technical University, has been adjudged the Best Internal Auditor of 2023.

Mr. Manu showcased unwavering commitment and dedication in his role, diligently supervising and conducting periodic audits with unmatched efficiency. Moreover, he proved himself invaluable by willingly taking on additional responsibilities assigned to him by his superiors. His exceptional performance and dedication to duty have set a high standard within the Directorate.

The award presentation ceremony, conducted by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Gabriel Dwomoh, and his management team, was a true celebration of merit and hard work. The Vice-Chancellor, in his speech, urged all staff members present to draw inspiration from Mr. Manu's performance. He emphasised that while not everyone can be awarded at the same time, dedication and hard work would undoubtedly be recognised and appreciated within the university community.

The Pro Vice-Chancellor of the University, Ing. Prof. Abena Obiri-Yeboah, echoed similar sentiments, praising the practice of awarding deserving employees for their exceptional contributions. She highlighted the significance of such recognition as a powerful tool for motivating the entire workforce to strive for excellence in their respective roles.

In his heartfelt response, Mr. Dennis Manu expressed his gratitude to the Director of the Internal Audit Directorate, Mr. Edward Ansah, and the Senior Management for the esteemed honour bestowed upon him. He thanked everyone he has worked with over his 15 years at the Istitution, humbly acknowledging that his success was not an individual achievement but a result of the collective efforts of his dedicated team at the Internal Audit Directorate.
