KsTU Expands Global Footprint Through Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Programme

Staff and students of Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) continue to make strides within the tertiary landscape. Mrs. Elizabeth Koomson, an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Procurement and Supply Chain Management, has embarked on an extraordinary journey to Turkey as part of the University's participation in the Erasmus+ Training Staff Mobility Programme. This initiative exemplifies the University’s commitment to fostering international cooperation and facilitating the exchange of knowledge and expertise.

Suleyman Demirel University in Turkey has graciously extended a warm invitation to Mrs. Elizabeth Koomson, acknowledging her as a worthy representative of Kumasi Technical University. This invitation is in accordance with the Erasmus+ Institutional Agreement that cements the bond between KsTU and Suleyman Demirel University. It is a testament to the high regard in which Mrs. Koomson and the University are held by our international partners. 

Mrs. Elizabeth Koomson is currently in Turkey, to participate in the enriching Erasmus+ Training Staff Mobility Programme. Her journey is an indication of her commitment to personal and professional development as well as her dedication to her role as a lecturer. She will engage in a holistic learning experience, gaining valuable insights and knowledge that will ultimately benefit not only her, but also, KsTU and her department.

About KsTU

Kumasi Technical University was established in 1954 as Kumasi Technical Institute (K. T. I. ) to offer craft courses. In 1963, the Institute was converted to a non-tertiary Polytechnic status under the Ghana Education Service to start offering, in addition, technician diploma and sub- professional courses.
