Staff members of Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) who are proud alumni of the institution have pledged their full support for the upcoming Alumni Homecoming and Grand Durbar, the flagship event set to climax the University’s 70th Anniversary celebrations.

The commitment was made as preparations intensify for the grand gathering, scheduled for 27th and 28th March 2026. The event is expected to bring together alumni from across the country and beyond, alongside students, management, and key stakeholders to celebrate seven decades of academic excellence and institutional impact.

The alumni staff comprising both teaching and non-teaching personnel from various faculties and administrative departments have demonstrated their support not only through public endorsement but also through generous financial contributions and in-kind donations. Their gesture underscores a deep-rooted loyalty to the institution that laid the foundation for their academic and professional journeys.

According to members of the group, the decision to support the Homecoming and Grand Durbar is driven by gratitude and a shared vision to strengthen the bond between the University and its alumni community. They described the 70th Anniversary as a historic milestone that deserves collective effort and meaningful participation.

The involvement of staff who once walked the corridors of KsTU as students reflects the enduring legacy of the University and the strong sense of belonging it fosters among its graduates.

The Alumni Homecoming and Grand Durbar is expected to serve as a platform for reconnecting old students, fostering partnerships, celebrating achievements, and charting a bold path for the future of the University.
