The Institute of Research, Innovation and Development (IRID) of Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) and the Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT have initiated a collaboration which will centre in the areas of joint curriculum development for specialised academic and professional programmes, research consultancy and innovative ICT solutions to research outcomes.

A Memorandum of Understanding to be signed in January 2022, will detail the parameters to guide the collaboration between these institutes. In a meeting held on the 20th October 2021, the two Directors and their management underscored the need for such strategic friendship between two strategically positioned institutes. Tailor-made academic and professional programmes shall be designed and run by the two institutes in Accra and Kumasi as part of this collaboration.
