Breaking Barriers: KsTU's Director Of Planning And Quality Assurance Shines At The International Stage

In a remarkable display of academic excellence and international collaboration, Ing. Prof. Abena Obiri-Yeboah, the Director of Planning and Quality Assurance at Kumasi Technical University (KsTU), recently embarked on a transformative journey to Colombia. The trip, which took place from October 9th to 13th, saw Prof. Obiri-Yeboah representing KsTU at the prestigious Semana Internacional Cartagena (International Week). Her mission was to share insights into "Science and Innovation Applied in Sustainable Development in Ghana", providing glimpses into Ghana's culture, history and the remarkable accomplishments of Kumasi Technical University.

This historic visit made her appear in six different institutions: Universidad del Sinú, Unicolombo Tecnológico, Tecnológico Comfenalco, Universidad de San Buenaventura, Corporación Universitaria Rafael Núñez and Semana Internacional Cartagena de Indias. The focus of the gathering was to promote knowledge exchange, foster international partnerships, and engage in a dialogue about sustainable development strategies in various parts of the world.

Prof. Abena's presentation on "Science and Innovation Applied in Sustainable Development in Ghana" was met with great enthusiasm. Her subsequent discourse did not only shed light on the rich culture of Ghana but also, delved into the contributions of KsTU in the field of education, research, and technological innovation.

Despite the language barrier, Prof. Abena's mastery over her area of discipline transcended linguistic limitations. She expertly defied the languages differences to convey the essence of her presentation, fostering a spirit of international cooperation and understanding.
