Assistant Registrar Of KsTU Gets International Appointment
Mr. Akwasi Sarfo Agyemang, the Assistant Registrar in charge of Students’ Affairs at Kumasi Technical University has been appointed as the West Africa Regional Coordinator for International Association of Student Affairs and Services (IASAS). This Association is a professional one formed for student affairs practitioners in higher education. This is an achievement that is likely to motivate the entire staff of Kumasi Technical University and we congratulate him for that.
Mr. Sarfo Agyemang was born in Kumasi, Ghana. He had his pre-school, primary and Junior High School education at the Cambridge International School, Kumasi. He further continued to T.I Ahmadiyya Senior High School, Kumasi where he sat for the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination.
Mr. Sarfo Agyemang had his under-graduate studies at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana where he pursued B.A Publishing Studies. He commenced post-graduate studies in September 2012 and completed in November 2014 studying for Masters of Business Administration in Strategic Management and Consulting at the KNUST School of Business. He is currently in his final year pursuing LL. B (Degree in Law) at the Faculty of Law, KNUST.
He first entered the four walls of Kumasi Technical University as a National Service personnel in 2009 where he had stints with the Academic Affairs Office as well as the Admissions Office. Subsequently, he was fully employed in October 2010 as a Senior Administrative Assistant under the Public Relations and Students Affairs Offices. He is currently an Assistant Registrar and the Head of Student Affairs Office for Kumasi Technical University, a position he has held from February 2015.
His hobbies include long distance driving, reading, watching football and listening to music. He is an ardent fan of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Football Club.
