CTVET, the governing body regulating the Technical Universities has granted amnesty to all Diploma and HND students who were unable to complete their programmes of study

dating back to 2001/2002 academic year.

This amnesty takes effect from 2022/2023 academic year and ends in 2025/2026 academic year. Therefore, all affected students are entreated to take advantage of this opportunity to complete their studies and be awarded certificates.

About KsTU

Kumasi Technical University was established in 1954 as Kumasi Technical Institute (K. T. I. ) to offer craft courses. In 1963, the Institute was converted to a non-tertiary Polytechnic status under the Ghana Education Service to start offering, in addition, technician diploma and sub- professional courses.
