7th Best University In Ghana In Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2025

We are proud to Announce that Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) has been ranked 7th Best University in Ghana in the Times Higher Educational Impact Rankings 2025, a remarkable achievement that highlights our commitment to Quality Education and Innovative Teaching, Research, Practical Skills Development  and Sustainability.

Out of 2,318 academic institutions Worldwide, only 11 institutions in Ghana, both public and private, made into the rankings and KsTU proudly secured a spot among the top-performing institutions nationally. 

About KsTU

Kumasi Technical University was established in 1954 as Kumasi Technical Institute (K. T. I. ) to offer craft courses. In 1963, the Institute was converted to a non-tertiary Polytechnic status under the Ghana Education Service to start offering, in addition, technician diploma and sub- professional courses.
