KsTU Clinches 3rd Place at the 2022 GHATUSA Games
The 2022 Ghana Technical University Sports Association (GHATUSA) games came to a climax on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium, and as expected, Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) emerged the 3rd in the overall competition proving their stellar performance at the 2nd edition of the GHATUSA games held at Tamale from 13th to 19th November, 2022.
The GHATUSA games started with a grand ceremony on Monday, 14th November, 2022 at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium, Tamale.
Over 1,000 athletes from the ten Public Technical Universities participated across eight sports disciplines; Handball, Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Tennis, Table Tennis, Badminton, and Athletics across various venues across the capital of Tamale.
KsTU arrived on November 11, 2022, with other nine Technical Universities to battle for laurels at the games hosted by Tamale Technical University. The perseverance of Team KsTU paid off by the close of the games. Team KsTU finished with twenty-one (21) medals, eleven (11) gold medals, four (4) silver medals, and Six (6) bronze medals to place third on the overall medal table.
Cape Coast Technical University is set to host the next edition of GHATUSA Games.
