Basic Entry Requirements for Four (4) year Degree Programmes
a. SSSCE Candidates
Credit passes (A-D) in six (6) subjects comprising three core subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, plus three (3) relevant elective subjects.
b. WASSCE Applicants
Credit passes (A1-C6) in six (6) subjects comprising three core subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, plus three (3) relevant elective subjects.
c. General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Applicants
Passes in three (3) relevant subjects (at least, one of the passes should be Grade D or better). Also, the applicant must have had credit passes (Grade 6) in five GCE Ordinary Level subjects including English Language, Mathematics and a Science subject (for non-science students) and an Arts subject (for science students).
d. General Business Certificate Examination (GBCE) Applicants
Credit passes (A-D) in six (6) subjects comprising three core subjects including English Language and Mathematics plus three (3) relevant elective subjects.
e. Mature Candidates
i) Must be at least twenty-five (25) years old with any legitimate documentary proof which is at least five (5) years old at the time of application.
ii) Must pass Mature Students’ Entrance Examinations conducted in English Language, Mathematics and General Paper.
iii) The applicant may have to attend and pass an interview.
iv) Evidence of working experience will be an added advantage.
f. Advanced Business Certificate Examination (ABCE- Full Diploma Certificate in ABCE) Applicants
Credit passes in five (5) subjects including English Language, Business Mathematics, Integrated Science or Social Studies in the GBCE or SSSCE or WASSCE to be considered for level 200 of a degree programme.
g. International Applicants
i) International students must possess qualification(s) equivalent to any of the requirements stated above.
ii) Academic records of foreign applicants with the requisite qualification will be referred to GTEC for the determination of equivalence and eligibility for admission as well as placement
Basic Entry Requirements for Top-UP Degrees
a. HND and Tertiary Diploma Applicants
i) HND holders (Other Diploma qualifications from elsewhere assessed to be equivalent to HND) must have graduated with at least, second-class lower division in the relevant discipline will be admitted to level 300.
ii) HND holders in other disciplines may be admitted to level 200 or level 300 on the earlier programme content.
iii) Two-Year Accredited Diploma Holders with at least, second-class lower division in the relevant discipline will be admitted to level 200 of the programme.
b. Professional Certificates Holders Applicants
All professional certificates and any other qualifications beyond the ones specified above will be referred to the GTEC for the establishment of their equivalencies, to determine their eligibility for admission and placement.

Basic Entry Requirements for Higher National Diploma (HND) and Higher Diploma (HD) Programmes
a. SSSCE Applicants
Credit passes (A-D) in six (6) subjects comprising three core subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, plus three (3) relevant elective subjects.
b. WASSCE Applicants
Must have six (6) passes (A1 – D7) in all subjects including English Language and Mathematics. Must possess a minimum of (C6) in any three (3) of the passes relevant to the area of specialisation.
c. Diploma Applicants
Two-year Accredited Diploma holders with at least, second-class lower division in the relevant discipline will be admitted to level 200 of the programme.

Five (5) passes in O’ Level/GBCE including English Language and Mathematics.

a. WASSCE/SSSCE Candidates
Passes (A1-D7) in three (3) core subjects including English Language, Core Mathematics, plus credit passes in three (3) relevant Elective subjects from the following: Physics, Elective Mathematics, Chemistry, Building Construction, Wood/Metal Work, Technical Drawing, Science, Economics and Geography.
b. GCE Mature Candidates may apply
c. Construction Technician Course Part 1 (CTC 1) graduates can apply.
d. All WASSCE/SSSCE holders who obtained grades (E8/F) in English Language or Mathematics) with passes in the Elective Subjects listed in point (a) above will be required to undergo a semester access course, to foster their enrolment.
e. Intermediate Certificate II holders with minimum of a Pass in Three (3) Electives and Three (3) Core subjects including core Mathematics and English Language.

a. Qualification of Access in Building Technology
i. Candidates must pass at least three (3) of the four (4) major components including Construction Practice and Applied Technology and Site Experience at CTC III or CTC II final (old scheme) including passes in their corresponding project works.
ii. HND Estate Management, HND Civil Engineering, HND Interior Architecture and Furniture Production, HND Interior Design and Materials Technology.
iii. First degree Graduates from other fields or discipline may apply.
b. Qualification of Pre-Engineering
i. SSSCE with three passes in Core subjects (English Language, Core Mathematics, Integrated Science/Social Studies) plus any three (3) passes in elective subjects (Visual Arts, Home Economics, Business and General Arts) with total aggregate not exceeding 30.
ii. WASSCE with a minimum of credit score (C6) in Core subjects (English Language, Core Mathematics, Integrated Science/Social Studies) plus any three (3) passes in elective subjects (Visual Arts, Home Economics, Business and General Arts) with aggregate not exceeding 36.
c. Applicants with Science Background
i. SSSCE with minimum of three credit passes (A-B) in Core subjects (English Language, Core Mathematics, Integrated Science/Social Studies) plus any two (2) minimum passes (A-E) in elective subjects
II. WASSCE with a minimum credit score (C6) in Core subjects (English Language, Core Mathematics, Integrated Science/Social Studies) plus any two (2) passes (A1-D7) in elective subjects
I. PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMMES (only Weekends)
a. Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT)
i. International Certificate in Logistics and Transport (CILT): Six (6) Months
ii.. International Diploma in Logistics and Transport (DILT): The programme covers two (2) semesters
iii. International Advanced Diploma in Logistics and Transport (ADILT): The programme covers three (3) semesters.
Entry Requirements
- CILT: Senior High School (SHS), GCE Ordinary or Advanced Levels, HND, First Degree, Masters and/or (equivalencies) coupled with adequate relevant work experience. Mature applicants may be considered at appropriate level.
- DILT: Possession of the International Certificate in Logistics and Transport of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport OR Possession of a University first degree and/or HND (or equivalencies) coupled with relevant areas of study. In addition, participants must have worked in a Logistics and Transport environment for a minimum of three (3) years.
ADILT: Possession of the International Diploma in Logistics and Transport of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport OR First Degree/ Masters in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transport, or related discipline with accredited institution.
