UNLEASHING THE DIGITAL FUTURE: KSTU AND AMALITECH GHANA JOIN FORCES TO EMPOWER STUDENTS

Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) and AmaliTech, a global IT firm, have recently solidified their collaboration through the signing of a groundbreaking Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The partnership aims to equip students with essential IT and digital skills, fostering sustainable employment opportunities on an international scale.

The team from AmaliTech Ghana paid a courtesy visit to Kumasi Technical University to present the MoU formally and discuss its implementation. The Vice-Chancellor of KsTU, Ing. Professor Osei-Wusu Achaw, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership and highlighted the importance of academia and industry joining hands to provide specialized IT-focused training for the next generation. He emphasized the significance of exchanging expertise between the university and the industry, which would enable the development of competent IT specialists capable of handling complex technological solutions in the modern world.

Ing. Prof. Osei-Wusu further explained that the MoU aligns perfectly with KsTU's vision of becoming a world-class institution that offers exceptional hands-on training and support systems.

About KsTU

Kumasi Technical University was established in 1954 as Kumasi Technical Institute (K. T. I. ) to offer craft courses. In 1963, the Institute was converted to a non-tertiary Polytechnic status under the Ghana Education Service to start offering, in addition, technician diploma and sub- professional courses.
