Online Chinese Class At Kumasi Technical University Officially Launched
On the 17th of March 2023, a grand launching ceremony and symposium for the online Chinese class at Kumasi Technical University was held in Beijing. The event was attended by a distinguished group of guests, including Wang Jinhong, Chairman of the Chinese Alliance and Deputy General Manager of Wuzhou Hanfeng Network Technology, Ing. Prof. Osei-Wusu Achaw, Vice-Chancellor of Kumasi Technical University, and Prof. Sarfo Mensah, Director of International Affairs and Institutional Linkages.
Also in attendance were Secretary of the Party Committee of Weifang Vocational College, Vice President Li Ruichang, Director of International Exchange and Cooperation Lin Yonggang, Dean of the School of Continuing Education Han Jilin, and Dean of the School of Information Engineering Xu Xiwei.
The online Chinese class has already commenced, and students of the programme have started taking the course. More students from various departments of the University are expected to join the Chinese class in the coming days.
The online Chinese class is an initiative by Kumasi Technical University to offer Chinese language courses to its students. This programme is aimed at equipping students with the necessary language skills to compete in the global job market, especially in the areas of trade, commerce, and technology.
