Priority Insurance Company Limited Donates Projectors to KsTU

In a commendable act of corporate social responsibility, Priority Insurance Company Limited has reinforced its partnership with Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) by donating eight projectors to the Institution. This generous donation underscores the company's commitment to supporting educational development within the University.

The donation was presented to Professor Gabriel Dwomoh (Vice-Chancellor) by the Managing Director Mr. Matthew K. A. Aidoo who led the delegation from Priority Insurance Company. He was accompanied by the Regional Manager, Mr. Frank Ofori Agyekum, Senior Manager, Mr. Charles Adu-Antwi, and team members Angaandi Leticia and Prince Darko.

In his remarks, Mr. Aidoo emphasised the company's dedication to maintaining a strong relationship with KsTU, noting that the donation was a fulfillment of a promise made to the university. He expressed hope that the projectors would enhance the teaching and learning experience at KsTU.

Accepting the projectors on behalf of the University, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Gabriel Dwomoh, along with the Registrar, Mr. Ebenezer Kofi Boakye and Dr. Solomon Forkuo Kwarteng, Senior Lecturer at KsTU, expressed their gratitude for the donation. Prof. Dwomoh highlighted the significance of the contribution, stating, "We are truly delighted by this generous gesture. This contribution is not merely corporate responsibility but a corporate social investment; it sets a strong foundation for corporate support within our university community. It's important to recognise that even the smallest acts can lead to significant impacts, and we assure you that the projectors will aid in teaching and learning."

This donation marks a significant step in the ongoing collaboration between Priority Insurance Company Limited and Kumasi Technical University, further strengthening the bond between the two institutions. The projectors will be instrumental in enhancing educational delivery, providing students and faculty with the tools needed to succeed in a modern academic environment.

 

About KsTU

Kumasi Technical University was established in 1954 as Kumasi Technical Institute (K. T. I. ) to offer craft courses. In 1963, the Institute was converted to a non-tertiary Polytechnic status under the Ghana Education Service to start offering, in addition, technician diploma and sub- professional courses.
