Field of agricultural sciences in disciplines:

Field of natural sciences in the discipline: 

  • Biological sciences 

Field of veterinary science in disciplines: 

  • Veterinary science 

Field of engineering and technical sciences in disciplines: 

  • Civil engineering, geodesy and transport 
  • Mechanical engineering 
  • Environmental engineering, mining and energy 
  • Information and communication technology 

Field of social sciences in discipline: 

  • Economics and finance 
  • Sociology 
  • Pedagogy 
  • Management and quality science

QUALIFICATIONS 

Applicants should meet the following criteria for their applications to be considered.

-    Should be student or graduate of Kumasi Technical University
-    Hold a degree in relevant areas

APPLICATION CRITERIA 

Interested applicants are required to submit the following documents:

-    Letter of application indicating intent of interest
-    One page proposal indicating area of research interest
-    Current resume
-    Recommendation letters from at least two academic and/or professional referees
-    All certificates and transcripts

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION 

All applications, both in hard and soft copies, should be submitted in person to the Office of International Affairs and Institutional Linkages not later than 15:00 UTC on 31st May 2024.

About KsTU

Kumasi Technical University was established in 1954 as Kumasi Technical Institute (K. T. I. ) to offer craft courses. In 1963, the Institute was converted to a non-tertiary Polytechnic status under the Ghana Education Service to start offering, in addition, technician diploma and sub- professional courses.
